The past few months have been particularly busy ones for client, DJ Byers Defence as they prepared for their attendance at Milipol 2018, the international event for Homeland Security and Civil Defence, which took place in Qatar at the end of October. As a direct result, we were also incredibly busy working on a number of exciting projects alongside DJ Byers Defence, all to be completed in time for the exhibition.
Presidian Film (Please scroll to see film)
After several weeks of planning and preparation we went up to North Yorkshire to Catterick Garrison’s Marne Barracks where we were accompanied by representatives of the British Army, in order to film the Presidian, one of DJ Byers’ flagship products which was to be launched at Milipol. Presidian is a fully mobile intelligent surveillance system which can be rapidly deployed and, among many other features, comes with radar and thermal imaging camera. The vehicle/system can be used for anti terrorism activity, convoy support, asset protection border security, coastal monitoring and mobile perimeter surveillance. The film, seen here, below, showcases the Presidian’s features and rapid deployment capability. As well, as using 4K Video camera, we also incorporated Drone footage which added a more engaging dimension to the final film.
Another fairly substantial project was to evolve the existing DJ Byers Defence website in order to allow for multi-lingual options. This involved some substantial development work followed by uploading arabic content supplied by a specialist translation company. Additional language alternatives are likely to follow on. In addition to multi-lingual versions of the website, there were also major updates to the website to reflect the most up to date product developments.
Clayton Creative also designed the exhibition stand which needed to be visually bold and really stand out from the crowd especially as Milipol is such a vast exhibition. Using just three images, one for each product, Presidian, Zyklone and Sentinel, each of which covered the entire background, and keeping text to a minimum we created a stand that was eye catching and, apparently, did just the trick!
Product literature was also updated and translated into a variety of languages including English, Arabic, Urdu, French and Turkish.
We created a DJ Byers company presentation and product overview in both Powerpoint and Keynote.
And, in addition to the above, there were stickers and bags to produce, new photography, html mailers to create and translate.
The good news is that we hit all the deadlines and everything arrived in Qatar safely, and the team at DJ Byers Defence had a very successful show!
